Meet our Staff
Matt Murphy is entering his fifth school year as the Campus Director of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes for Mississippi College.
Matt is from Cordova, TN, where he graduated in 1996 from Evangelical Christian School. In 2000, he graduated from MC with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and was a four-year letterman in football. On the field, Matt earned All-Conference honors as a wide receiver.
Matt also served as Captain of the FCA Huddle at MC. After graduation, he began coaching football and working part time for FCA. In January of 2002, he joined the FCA staff full-time. Along with his current role at MC, Matt also serves the FCA huddles in Clinton area schools.
Matt is married to the love of his life, Bethany, who also graduated from MC in 2001. They celebrated six years of marriage on June 16, 2007. They are blessed with two daughters Ava (3) and Emmaline (14 months). Bethany also works part-time with FCA ministering to female athletes and coaches at MC.
