Clinton High School

Nov. 15, 2006
The third Wednesday of every month marks the day that the Clinton High School FCA meets in the cafeteria. Last week on Nov. 15th, Clinton FCA hosted several MC athletes, one of which spoke to their huddle. To start off the meeting, Clinton football player Robert Morris shared his thoughts on traveling as a team to see Facing the Giants a few weeks earlier. Then Thomas Gray, a Junior at MC and current Boys' Basketball Coach at Rebul Academy, shared his life story with over 300 students. Thomas spoke of a close friend and teammate in high school who passed away due to some choices he made after his own father had died. After experiencing the conviction of the Holy Spirit, Thomas told the group how he didn't take the time to share Christ with his friend, but now realized that was the most important thing. More than trophies or championships, knowing Jesus as Lord is the greatest thing we can experience! Many students were moved and challenged to take today and share Christ boldly with their peers.
